Coaches Conduct

NTXHL Coaches:

I have had multiple reports of coaches behaving extremely poorly in recent weeks.  The league does not care how your team plays or how many calls the officials may miss you are expected to act properly.  You are a mentor to the young men and women on your team and angry outbursts and foul language will not be tolerated by the league.  The NTXHL Disciplinary Committee will invoke the USA rule for Supplemental Discipline against any coach who can not control his/her emotions.  The suspensions under this rule will be in addition to any suspensions received for any incidents penalized during games.

Attention All Scorekeepers......

Regarding point streak, some scorekeepers are entering and some are not entering the backup goalie on the player list. On the printout sheet both goalies are listed and the starter checked but some scorekeepers are only entering the checked goalie in the player list at the terminal. We just became aware that they need to be listed for the 20/10 rule for state tournaments.   Re-cap -- both goalies present must be entered into the system for each game - you enter the starter as the goalie and the backup is selected as a player. 

Pointstreak update....

We are off and running with the new season.  Pointstreak procedures are going smoothly for the most part.  There are a few last issues which need to be resolved.  ALL Home/Host team managers must print scoresheets before the game and bring them to the rink.  Home/Host team manager should get with the visiting team manager and be sure to verify each teams roster before each game, making scratches or changes as needed.  Respective Team Managers should get your coaches signatures on the scoresheet before the game.  It is the responsibility of the home/host team to turn the scoressheet into the scorekeeper before the game.  These procedures must be followed regardless of a pointstreak terminal on site or not.
